Being Aware is Just the Beginning by Andrea
I recently had a conversation with a good friend about our upcoming FREE event on October 14. She STILL has not taken any part of the Protective Thinking program and not for my lack of trying. She said again, “I know I should go, but I just don’t have any interest.” She went on to tell me all of the things she does to be aware every day. I told her I thought that was great. Being aware is the first step. What I need to ask her is this, “What would you do if being aware is not enough? What would you do if, God forbid, you were attacked? Would you know what to do to save your own life?” I already know the answer to this. Many women walk around with a false sense of security because they are aware. You need to be prepared and have a plan. I’d love to know what your friends have told you about why they don’t want to take charge of their personal safety. Let’s figure out how to get past their objections together!
Be Aware. Be Prepared. Be Safe.
